TASBI expects that all of its business practices will be conducted in compliance with high ethical standards. We apply these standards to all dealings with employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

The Ethics Policy will be available on our website. Our Ethics Policy ensures that the TASBI’s business is conducted in adherence with high ethical and legal principles and also set standards of professionalism and integrity for all employees and operations worldwide. The Ethics Policy is reviewed on an annual basis and is signed by every employee.

The following is a summary of the Ethics Policy:

  • All employees have the right and responsibility to ensure that TASKBI's business is conducted with high ethical and legal principles
  • Our policy is to operate within applicable laws of each Jurisdiction
  • Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated

Employees

TASBI aims to hire, maintain and engage the highest caliber of employees and recognizes their contribution and development. TASBI strives to cultivate an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration while emphasizing continuous capacity building of both staff and the organization.  Appropriate career paths and internal recognition programs are developed for both technical and non-technical staff. Employees are provided with learning and professional development opportunities to effectively carry out their duties and excel in their roles. These development opportunities are structured to align with our organizational objectives and to help employees in further their career aspirations. TASBI demonstrates that it value employees through several reward and recognition programs; educational scholarships, salary bonuses, sales employee of the month recognition among others.  TASBI will also implement Employee Leadership, Empowerment and Management development programs to support staff development and Peer-leadership within the organization.

Formal performance reviews are conducted annually and are linked to the goals of the organization. Health and Safety

Our Operational Director has the responsibility for organizational Risk Management as well as overall health and safety performance of TASBI. The health and safety risk profile of TASBI is monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis.  In addition to special random safety drills, CPR training and tests around final examination and assembly of products, working environment issues such as ergonomics and repetitive strain injury are monitored. TASBI’s Health and Safety Policy ensures the management of health and safety concerns within the organization are monitored and regulations are adhered to.  Health and Safety Committee comprising of staff and management are supported by local external advisers, where necessary and on hand resources are made available to all staff. It is TASBI’s intention that each business unit will have a senior individual designated as a to support the Health and Safety Committee to facilitate confirmation of local statutory health and safety regulations as well as the organization’s policy.
